ETSA members visit alsico: a look into the future of circular textiles
Last Monday, we had the pleasure of welcoming members of ETSA (European Textile Services Association) to our alsico facilities. It was a fantastic opportunity to open our doors and share how we're championing sustainability in the workwear industry.
One highlight of the visit was our alsico academy’s ARX Initiative, where garments are carefully repaired, refurbished, and given a second life. This hands-on approach not only reduces waste but also reinforces our commitment to a circular economy.
We also introduced our Garment Collector program, which enables customers to return their used garments. Once received, we sort them on-site and direct each item into dedicated recycling streams, ensuring maximum value is recovered and minimal waste is generated.
Beyond showcasing our initiatives, this visit was an invaluable chance to connect with peers, exchange insights, and discuss the environmental priorities shaping the future of our industry.
