Cyclop wins prestigious iF Design Award

With the stricter GMP Annex 1 standards, skin covering in cleanrooms is becoming increasingly important. However, this poses challenges to the comfort and health of production workers. Alsico understands the challenges that workers face when developing vaccines and medicines, working in demanding conditions that are hot, claustrophobic, and uncomfortable. That is why they developed pioneering Cyclop® cleanroom suit as a solution to this complex challenge. 

Cyclop^® sets a new standard in contamination control by combining advanced technology with innovative design. For the design, they worked together with design and innovation agency Pilipili. This suit, with integrated goggles, differs completely from existing solutions, eliminating the need for mouth masks. Thanks to the accompanying device, the temperature and humidity inside the suit are optimally managed. This prevents condensation on the face shield, reduces CO₂ build-up and overheating, while simultaneously increasing comfort and focus for cleanroom workers. The result? Reduced fatigue, lower risk of health problems, and a more efficient working environment – all fully in line with the strict requirements of GMP Annex 1.
